Jazz band

I didn't really understand the workings of it.

It was right before Jazz Ensemble, right? Hey, this came in.

I'm like, great.

I'm like, cool.

I ever learned.

We did it in high school jazz band.

Jazz bands.

This is before I even know who Jocko was.

Uh-huh.

Right? One, four.

And the director of the jazz band, he was like,

And we were just messing around talking about Jazz Ensemble a minute ago, but it is conversational, right? In that, it's a different kind of conversation.

But in chamber music in particular, you are literally conversing, right? Silently, while you're playing, whatever.

And understanding, yeah, when to defer, when to lead.
