Jaz Shelley

You know, you can go down the line.

Jazz Shelley played really well.

Gee, she got a hit in the second game, but we'll come back to that one.

But, jeez, man, Tess Hill and Southside, they gave it everything to try and get that win.

And when you look at that 13, I think Yang Shuyu hit four of six.

So if you take that out, it stinks even worse.

So it's good that they went away from that at key times and got the baskets, like the Jazz Shelley drive where she got clipped.

Well, before I

a new look Sydney team, but definitely Bourne-y for the top.

We talk so much about the talent around the league and you've mentioned Izzy Bourne and we've got Jazz Shelley and we've got so many names.

We haven't even touched on like a Loz Nicholson or anyone like that.

But is there anyone that has really got your eye when it comes to maybe we don't talk about them? Because I feel like, you know, we do celebrate a lot of the players in our league, but there are some players that go under the radar.

It's all happening.

Um, now this is probably the big, the big, uh, signing of, of the year, um, and w- probably one of the worst kept secrets in basketball too, and that's Jaz Shelley.

Uh-

[laughs]

They, there's a lot of players on that team that can put up points in a hurry.

Definitely.

Lauren Nicholson, oh, wow, and Ally Wilson, Jaz Shelley.

Just, Jaz Shelley just destroyed teams in the NBL1 East this season, so, uh-

Renee Gallop's taken over.

They've picked up Jaz Shelley, who was unbelievable-

I love her

...

Yeah, okay.

Yeah.

I think the only surprise would be is if they underperformed, 'cause I mean, I, I, I'm absolutely enamored with Jaz Shelley.

I, I thought what she did at Geelong in the last couple of years w- was phenomenal, and she's grown with the game.

And she obviously played for the Flyers last year.

And then you think this year you've got, you've played against Jaz Shelley, Izzy Bourne, and Gianna Napkins ag- previously.

Sort of, are you sort of, es- especially the last three, are you sort of keen to play against those girls again in the WNBL?

Mm-hmm.

They recruited pretty well.

You think any time you can add someone like Ali Wilson, a Jazz Shelley, Izzy Bourne, like, it's a pretty good start.

Solid.

Solid tick there.
