Jaylin Noel

What a story, bro.

Talk to us a little bit about the – The punt return, obviously something J. Noel has a little something going on and they called your number to get out there at that point, man.

I saw a little frustration after it.

I got to believe that was because you didn't take it to the house.

Got a touchdown.

What else was there? Um, J Noel got hurt.

Tank Dell came back, got a catch.

Technically speaking, that was not his catch.

So he's going to punt at 60 yards, and we're going to have some opportunities to get some big returns.

We're anticipating J. Noel, also Tank, possibly getting back and returning a couple punts for us.

Then on their kickoff return unit, they gave the ball away last week.

So I've been imploring our kickoff unit, can we go down and not just make the tackle? Let's go down and let's take the football away.

We've been really successful there.

And to come out and really take that shot, aggressive play call there by Coach Caley.

and great execution by C.J. and by J. Noel.

To see how C.J. completed that ball, I still don't know.

And with Marvin Harrison and Booty and Dale, all of a sudden a position when Nico was out that was a position of weakness has become a position of strength.

And the biggest surprise has been Jay Leno becoming such a big-time breakaway receiver in this offense who keeps getting better every game.

Okay, General, let's go with that thought because you hit on a number of things I was going to ask you about.

But the one thing, I don't worry about it because it feels like this group of wide receivers, it feels like they are kind of in it for each other as much as they are in it for themselves.

I mean, CJ hit him, I think, a couple times on hot.

One definitely early in the game.

But to me, Jay Knowles has got to be at least your number two.

At least your number two.

He's now really, really, his impact is being felt for the Texans offense.

Over the weekend specifically, we watched Jaylin Noel play in London.

We got him on the show, guys.

Yeah.

But right now it would be only the Browns and the Steelers representing the AFC North.

[upbeat music] Let's go.

We gotta talk to Jaylin Noel here.

We were just yucking it up in the commercial break 'cause we're so thrilled to have him on after putting on an absolute clinic at Wembley Stadium over the Jaguars.

But to me, the one play that I, I wanted to ask you about happened right after they took the lead 14-10, and kickoff.

So Jaylin Noel runs the kickoff.

Now, we've seen this a lot, where guys will run the kickoff, and then they'll come off.

Okay, you know, that's, it's a tough run.

We have the rest of this conversation that we had this afternoon.

We have Johnny's conversation with him after the game.

We have Jaylin Noel coming up, who had the career day yesterday.

It's all happening here on Texans Radio.

What an outstanding catch and throw by him.

J. Noel in the back of the end zone.

I mean, to make that throw moving-

Yeah

I was like, "You don't see this?"

[laughs]

Like, [laughs] so I did see the J. Noel one, but when I went back and I'm watching the film, well, after I'm arguing, I'm like, "Oh, how did we get the first down?"

[laughs]
