Jayden Stone

But, you know, to me, I, I looked at what C.J. put together and I thought if that's the kind of performance and that's the kind of consistency level he's operating at now, from my seat it would be really hard for me to keep him out of a more prominent role than just a kind of a depth piece.

You know, whether you start him right away, I don't know, or if you do kind of what they did with Jaden Stone where you work him into that after you see if it translates.

But, um, you know, I've said in a lot of different settings, I think I said it, you know, to you guys, I said it, you know, in our notes online, and I said it, you know, today, I thought, you know, Tony Bryant, you know, I think if you're gonna loudly proclaim something you have to kind of also be willing to have a loud mea culpa.

I thought his shooting form really came around in a way that, you know, we hadn't seen, you know, even at Southeastern Prep, even, you know, on the limited kind of glimpses on the AAU circuit.

Will Johnston looks like a live wire, looks a good player.

Jayden Stone, a former Lakeside player, I believe.

Harry Wessels as well.

So they've got some good, um, pieces there that have, um, come in to replace some of those, uh, stars that have left.

He shoots the ball amazingly um game winners like pressure does not phase this guy he just yeah it's like every level he goes to he just finds a way to get it done so i he's one of my favorite players to watch honestly he's uh he's he's a special talent

for sure Yeah, and Brian Gorgian is putting faith in him already, right? So really excited to see him live for the first time tonight, as I am with two other rookies of ours, two that you have covered very closely, Harry Wessels and Jaden Stone.

So tell me about these guys.

I mean, you talk about guys being ready to play at this level.

True-false, Woody V will be purchasing a new Sydney Kings jersey at the game today.

False.

No, I want to get the Jaden Stone yellow one, which you can't buy on the counter, man.

I'm going to get the stupid purple ones, man.

Malawatch is going to take a next step, I think.

This team, Jaden Stone is coming from college.

Really, initially I thought we might be losing a bit getting rid of some of these guys, but looking at the team play yesterday, Kendrick Davis just got off the plane and didn't miss a beat.

And this was close at half-time, wasn't it? It was.
