Keystone did its thing.

Jayco did its thing.

Tiffin did its thing.

Thor Motor Coach did its thing, all owned by Thor but with their own leadership, manufacturing, marketing.

That has been changing rapidly.

Back in February, Thor announced that most of those companies would be organized into two large operating groups.

One put Jayco, Entegra, Heartland, Open Range, and Tiffin under Jayco president Ken Walters.

You may remember, that was just after Lee Tiffin left Tiffin, maybe prematurely forcing the announcement of the two operating group model.

Thor Industries, the largest RV manufacturer in the world, announced a round of leadership changes Thursday evening.

Ken Walters, who's been running Jayco, is now president of North American RV operations, and he oversees all of Thor's North American RV companies.

Nick Martin, Jayco's vice president of sales, takes over Jayco.

Troy James becomes president of Keystone.

Thor also named a chief financial officer and a chief marketing officer over the whole North American RV group.

Okay, just as this was about ready to get sent up to the cloud and ready to be distributed, I did hear back from some other sources, not from Jeff himself, but some other sources very close to Keystone that say Jeff's gone.

He's out as of Thursday.

Apparently a lot of dissatisfaction about how Keystone has just not kept pace with Jayco in terms of organization.

And we really do.

I mean, you know, we have all the, I want to say the major hitters, the Forest River and the Keystone and Jayco and Integra and Winnebago and Airstream and

of those ones that, you know, you would normally think of when you're thinking of RVing and camping.

And then that helps you figure out kind of where you are and what direction to go.

So that's always another good navigating tip.

Yeah, I would also tell everybody to use your cell phone to take pictures of RVs you're interested in because after you walk into 50 RVs, they can blur a little bit together and you're like, oh, what was that one we liked? Was that a Jayco or was that a Keystone or whatever it might be? So if you have a little system of snapping photos in your phone of ones that are of interest, that has always helped me stay organized when I'm navigating an RV show and shopping.

There's a different luxury big fifth wheel brand that we definitely will see at the Hershey RV show, making its return after a hiatus, DRV Mobile Suites.

DRV has been pretty quiet recently while its former parent operation, Heartland RV, went through a major restructuring under Thor Industries and was moved into the Jayco family of companies.

That transition began last year and now DRV itself is officially part of Jayco and the company is calling this the beginning of a new era for mobile suites.

Importantly, they say they're not trying to reinvent what mobile suites has traditionally been.

DRV says the new models will retain some of the brand's signature construction features, including three-inch thick exterior walls, more ride-independent suspension with hydraulic disc brakes, hardwood cabinetry, and an upgraded water manifold system.

What's changing is some of the infrastructure behind the product.

DRV says being part of Jayco will give owners access to a larger authorized service network, improved parts support, and expanded customer care.

They're also backing the new mobile suites with a two-year limited warranty, along with three years of structural coverage.

it's kind of like it's mostly new, unique stuff.

So we're not just taking out like the next Jayco floor plan, right? This is not that kind of thing.

Maybe we will someday.

We might do some of that.

Yes, and that's very exciting.

And we're looking forward to that very, very much.

But it would be nice to also have an opportunity to get into some of these, you know, Winnebago, Grand Designs, Jayco's, Thor's, things of that nature.

I think to... kind of put them to the test, to road test them and see if some of the discourse that's out there on social media Again, it'll only be one rig.

It's their problem.

It's not Jayco's.

Well, no, this is the thing.

The newer build cars do have a new security system in it, but I totally get it, right? Like, if you're an owner, you've forked out for the money on one of these cars to then have to put your hand in your pocket again.

She was murdered? You're

I don't know about that.

Well, just so you know, we actually didn't accuse them of murder.

But we need to know what happened to Anissa.

And we do know that she, you know, she died in the Jayco.

And we also know that, you know, it was hooked up to the Tahoe when it started.

So, yeah, we'll see when the specs are released.

But you know that it's coming from a pretty good pedigree of vehicles that have sold thousands already in the country with the Jayco J5.

Because of the price.

So, hopefully, Lepas will also give us a good price.
