Do you know all these landlords?

I mean, I know most, but not all are easy to deal with.

Every deal is a different situation.

You know, every deal has a problem, let's say.

And when you're dealing with 10 or 20 or 30 landlords on a street, that's where it's like this Monopoly board of different landlords, and it gets complicated.

Because in my Malibu project that you saw, um, and that I, I'm, we could talk about if, if you're gonna ask about it, but it's me and my team and the landlord and his team, and we're all just talking about each tenant that we're bringing to the table.

When you go to a street like Rodeo Drive, Beverly or Canon Drive, Melrose Place, Melrose Avenue, Abbot Kinney, it's all different landlords.

... at NBC, and I was trying to work my way up, and I did get a job in New York at NBC out of college as a page.

But in August of '95, sitting on the beach in Santa Monica looking at Malibu, I decided I would not take that job and stay in LA.

So that was a major change in my life, but I was ready to go.

And what I thought I'd be doing is working my way up in the entertainment side of NBC.

It was called, like, NBC Entertainment, and I had interned at Dateline NBC and then WNBC, where they sell advertising, and then another summer, and then Tribeca Productions in New York, which is De Niro's company.
