Ali MaxwellHOST

Fantastic.
Ali MaxwellHOST
12:16
provides a great kind of foundation but adding Welsh in defence for example has given them an extra ball playing ability Lissa has been an absolute revelation playing either at right back or centre back Josh Tymon is just timeless and getting better and better every single season the midfield has been so much better this season it's a joke and that's Not just guys they've brought in, but guys like Fulton, who's kicked on again, who always seems like, surely this is the year that Jay Fulton stops becoming a regular player for Swansea.
Ali MaxwellHOST
12:46
No, Fulton survives and thrives.
Ali MaxwellHOST
12:48
Staminic, brilliant kicking on in his second season.
Ali MaxwellHOST
12:51
Franco, just back from injury, picking up where he left off, harrying about the place, disrupting play, and various others as well.
Darcy CoxGUEST
22:23
You know, sometimes he'll drop into number 10 to create like a diamond midfield.
Darcy CoxGUEST
22:28
Big fan of a player that has the ability to do that.
Darcy CoxGUEST
22:30
I think it can be really useful.
Darcy CoxGUEST
22:31
And he's certainly one of those who has been able to do that for Swansea so far this season.
Darcy CoxGUEST
22:56
Yeah, experience, trusty number six, gets through a massive amount of defensive work at the base of midfield, enables build-up solutions, he'll drop into the back line to help enable build-up.
Darcy CoxGUEST
23:08
Nice balance between how much he helps the team control games by playing simple passes and completing passes, and then how often he's able to find routes forward as well.
Darcy CoxGUEST
23:18
Not the kind of player that I think you're looking for for like... goal contributions, assists and goals, but very important as part of this Swansea team when he does play as the number six.
CharlieHOST
23:31
Nice, and then we'll move on to the two new signings we want to highlight.
LeeHOST
4:42
I know we've had an influx of signings, but the players that, that were left here, he's just managed them so well.
LeeHOST
4:47
We were talking about Ronald and Eram and Fulton, and he just seems to have everybody on board and playing better.
LeeHOST
4:53
So I think he just deserves a lot of credit for that as well.
BenGUEST
4:55
Yeah.

34 MINS LATER

LeeHOST
39:06
Yeah.
LeeHOST
39:07
I mean, the ball he puts in for Edo's goal was a, was a brilliant ball, wasn't it? And he's also quite important in the first goal as well.
LeeHOST
39:13
That, love that bit of play on the touchline between, I think it's him, Fulton, and then Tyman goes through, doesn't he? He plays a big part in that as well.
LeeHOST
39:21
So I think Vidal's been brilliant.
Jimmy SmithHOST
5:34
I'll double-check Flash's score as well just to make sure and see what they think.
Jimmy SmithHOST
5:37
But just returns to the line-up, as does Staminic and Jay Fulton in the middle as well, who's playing a lot of football for him this season.
Jimmy SmithHOST
5:45
I haven't historically rated him, but playing a lot for Swansea this season.
Jimmy SmithHOST
5:51
So I'm going to have a good look at him tonight, see if he's contributing towards their top-of-the-table push, if you like.

23 MINS LATER

Jimmy SmithHOST
29:18
That could be a yellow card, that.
Jimmy SmithHOST
29:21
Yeah, it is.
Jimmy SmithHOST
29:21
Jay Fulton.
Jimmy SmithHOST
29:23
Dodgy.
Adam HarveyPANELIST
16:31
And you maybe contrast that to Swansea where they had the likes of Kabango who's got a lot of minutes in the Championship under his belt.
Adam HarveyPANELIST
16:37
Jay Fulton's played a lot of football in the Championship.
Adam HarveyPANELIST
16:39
And is it maybe just that kind of leadership point on, on the pitch? You know, I know Ka- uh, Palamárson had the, the armband yesterday and I think is maybe a natural leader.
Adam HarveyPANELIST
16:47
But you contrast maybe his experience and his minutes to someone like Kenny McLean and I know, you know, you don't have to be experienced necessarily in terms of age to be a good leader on the football pitch, but it is a very young group and may- maybe those kind of emotional moments in the game where you do just need to keep it simple and, you know, not sort of overthink things.
John McInallyHOST
5:01
Any other... kind of thing of note is to say that Stephen Nixon as part of our Shire crop deal has joined them on a season long loan don't know much about Stephen obviously he's playing in the under 19s and that you know like Kai and Calvin and all the boys Joe that have went over to the Shire hopefully gives them a taste of real football and at that level at the lowland league level in all accounts i've heard that calvin bennett's doing very very well at the shire i think a few uh baylor's fans have been long to see him so that will be interesting to see how that deal works and if these guys like kai and all that come back in to the first team next season and you know can make that step up.
John McInallyHOST
5:40
I really want to see that happen because it's been so long since we've had youth coming through, you know, and we were so good at that, you know, when we talk about Stephen Kingsley and Jay Fulton and Murray Wallace and all these players that came up through the system and, you know, go back to Scott Arfield, Tam Scobie, all these players that have come into the system.
John McInallyHOST
6:02
So it'd be great to get that back again.
John McInallyHOST
6:04
So long may that continue and good luck to Stephen over at the Shire.
