Jason Wright

It is Fitz week here on the Arizona Cardinals radio network.

Steven Tolling and Jason Wright are the backs and two receivers left.

Fitzgerald just off the line to the right.

10.24 to go here in the first half.

Yeah, that defense, Mark, gives up 412 yards of total offense, so obviously Northwestern, a six and six team, if they're gonna have a chance to win this game, they're gonna have to control the clock and run the football.

Well, they have a good running back in Jason Wright that can do exactly that.

Had a nice season.

Could be the first back to have two straight, starting his first two season with 1,000 yards.

And what he does, you know, Northwestern loves doing what everybody else does, spread you out.

All they're trying to do, Rhys Davis, is find open running lanes for number 18, Jason Wright.

The ability to cut back, that's what he does so well.

Not a speed demon, good size back, but the ability to cut back.

In the media space, there's nothing more compelling than a growth story.

And so I'm delighted today to bring you a recent conversation that I had with the commissioner of the National Women's Soccer League, Jessica Berman, the owner of NWSL's Gotham FC, Carolyn Tisch Blodgett, and Jason Wright, managing partner and head of investments at Aerial Investments Project Level.

The story of women's soccer is a complicated one.

There's a lot of enthusiasm around the sport.

Thank you.

The Grill Room is a presentation of Odyssey in partnership with Puck.

I'm Dylan Byers, and I want to thank today's guests, Jessica Berman, Carolyn Tisch Blodgett, and Jason Wright.

I also want to thank the show's executive producers, Puck co-founder John Kelly, executive editor Ben Landy, and director of editorial operations, Gabi Grossman.

Mm-hmm.

Jessica Berman, who is a commissioner of the NWSL, Jason Wright, who's a big investor in, uh, in, women's sports.

And I have to say, there was a lot of buzz around that panel because when we're talking about the promise of sports and, uh, the, the NBA is already really big and there's a ceiling, so that's why Adam Silver's looking to go to, you know, uh, NBA Europe, and that's why he's doing that mid-season, 'cause, you know, maybe they can grow the early season games a, a little bit.

But the ceiling for women's soccer seems to be almost infinite right now.

Mm.

I think we just did an event out in the Hamptons, and Jason Wright, who was out there, who's, you know, part of a, a big in group in the in- investing space-

Yeah, Ariel Investments

... project level, Ariel Investments.

It looks and feels like our team.

I have to say, watching them through the first three weeks, and even the preseason games, I, I feel like we never went through that horrible era of the Jason Wright concocted, uh, you know, duds that were truly duds.

All right, uh, go around the NFL, just talk a little bit about the games tomorrow.

Um, I'm gonna save the Marilyn Loxley conversation for tomorrow, but I'll finish up with just some other NFL, uh, w- another wild day in the NFL, especially last night.
