You joined AMSA back in August of 2023, so three years ago.

Within a few months, Jason Quinn, your CFO and a former interim CEO, left for Nedbank.

Then in 2024, the bank went through much more intense scrutiny around leadership and transformation, ultimately Ari Rautenbach's early retirement.

So you've really had to live the argument that we're discussing today.

And they couldn't exert influence.

So I think the first thing Jason Quinn did as CEO when he came in, he sold that.

And look, negotiations must have been on the go already.

And then they started targeting what to do in Africa.

Most famously, of course, Danny Menelaus came from the Reserve Bank, uh, into COVID, which must have been the most dreadful experience, and sort of remotely managing a br- [laughs] a business to which he was new, uh, remotely.

He left, and he's now doing a great job as the chairman of Nedbank, poaching a guy who may have thought he should be the next CEO of Absa, Jason Quinn, to then run Nedbank, and he's doing a good job there.

Stability and culture are so important to this thing.

And you mentioned earlier that the job of the CEO is to inspire and bring hope.
