Where did that even come from?

Well, something needed to change, and it was probably me.

Going through a really big job transition, where you put your entire identity into what you do, and then boom, COVID happens, and everything's taken away from you after almost 20 years, was very difficult.

So she gave me about a year of mourning, if you will, and then after, like, year two and three, we're having children and stuff, and she, [laughs] she's like, "You gotta snap out of this.

You gotta figure this out." And then eventually we were like, "Why don't we just help other people out in the middle of the chaos of just being parents, and marriage, and the beautiful things that come with it, and also the things that are tough?" And we took our real-life therapist, Angie, sat her down on the couch, and we had an actual real conversation.

I think we've only taken out two or three things editing-wise from all conversations.

Because look, there's some things that you really do wanna keep close to the vest for the sanctity of your marriage, but I would say we would always leave the couch with our therapist after an episode going, "That, that felt good."

But is there anything that, any risk that you feel like comes with being so open about everything?

Mm

... standards and, you know, all that stuff, but they will take care of you.

And Juliana really never did any of that.

It was this really beautiful friendship.

Um, and you did a few other interviews, but Juliana, I think, was one of your last.

And I'm thankful that happened because when she came to the studio, I'll never forget it.

I was like, "Hey, nice to meet you.

Mm
