And so overall, I think New Mexico State's basketball is going to reach out to Jason Hooten here in a few weeks and have him come on.

Media days are coming up.

New Mexico State's got Jason Hooten in charge, who was good at Sam Houston prior to being at New Mexico State.

And then FIU, uh, definitely worth mentioning as well, because Cantons has had a crazy good off-season, brought in, uh, a big-time scoring creator from Weber State, like a first-team All-Big Sky caliber player, some top 100 recruits straight out of high school, um, transfers from East Carolina and Oklahoma, Kennesaw State within the conference, and some really, really good JUCO players, too, in the top 10 of JUCO recruiting's top 100, uh, JUCO ratings.

So there's a lot of talent on that FIU roster, and that's not even factoring in if they bring in Gerald Colonel, the defensive player of the year from the Southland, who anchored that Stephen F. Austin defense, who committed there.

I believe, um, the Discord jokes about them recruiting just points per game purely, only points per game.

Uh, but I, I do think Jason Hooten has been a good coach in the past and can be again.

His old protege, Chris Mudge at Sam Houston's a good coach.

Western Kentucky gets some talent.
