Jasmine

Um, I'm not sure if that's what's going on at all.

Well, I'll give you the, let's get Cyprus, Idleweiss, Rose, Jasmine, and I smell the Rose big time.

Uh, frankincense, vetiver, Himalayan cedar wood, and pink salt.

What a weird perfume.

Really.

Jasmine with a little hint of fish to it.

See if there's another one.

So that means there's an otter coming up from the sea here.

I have, and it was very good.

And that was when I first smelled Confederate Jasmine.

The scent really hits you.

It's warm, it's sweet, it's heady.

And then you notice the vine that's climbing a fence or trailing a courtyard wall.

That scent is really powerful, but it's especially powerful in the evening.

And perhaps that's why Jasmine has accumulated so many associations with dreams, love, intuition, and of course, romance.

This plant transforms the atmosphere that it's in.

The fine old house that nestled beneath the live oaks so confidingly that its broad veranda partly clasped one of them has long since been torn down, and its very foundations obliterated by the tangle of wild verdure that rises here so soon from the unvexed earth.
