... i- is it fair to call Jarell Quansah the man in possession when we're talking about right back? And, and I know he's been playing there this season for Leverkusen as well.

Yeah, maybe he starts from a 51%, uh, uh, position into this competition with Trent because he was at the World Cup, he was good at the World Cup, and he plays regularly now on, on the position, and he's competing, uh, with this desire to, to keep his shirt and, and Trent is, is competing and training to take it away, get some minutes, impress us, and there are four matches in a short period of time, so they are competing for the, for the spot and, and Jarell is in a good place and had, uh, um, some very good sessions the last days.

And I think Virgil van Dijk's been better for that as well alongside him, and you might get a little bit more out of Virgil for having somebody of the class and quality of Djenepo.

Also, you've got Jarell Quansah very much nearing his return, and this and that will take time, and it's definitely gonna be a long time before we see him at his best again post-ACL, of course it is.

But the talent was clear for all to see.

Liverpool went to Parma and paid thirty odd, forty million to bring him to the football club for a reason.

So top player in the waiting there, you would imagine, providing all goes well.

Underneath that, you've got more talent than I. You've got Nduku out on loan at Levante.

Like, we're relatively well-stocked, but that's not to say that we don't need to act in the market, and that's not to say that if indeed Virgil van Dijk does go at the end of the season, would a 25-year-old Micky van de Ven, Dutch international, would he be the solution? Would he be the answer? I think in terms of profile, he's very similar to Quansah.

Now, Quansah is a good few years younger than him, of course he is.

He's literally becoming a cult hero, and we're all loving him.

Um, and even, like, um, the likes of Quakes.

Like, I haven't been Quakes' biggest fan, but I thought Quakes did really well against the player that we've been linked with a lot with Ryan.

Um, I, I was thinking Ryan would cause him a little bit of trouble, but I thought Quakes pretty much locked him up.

Ryan was pretty much non-existent throughout that whole match, so credit to Quakes.

He played really well in my opinion.

For me, what impressed me the most was definitely that defense with Allison as well, and then MacAllister in front of them.

But it's an improvement whatever way you look at it, and I come back to the point where I talk about the pressing, where the pressing isn't on point, but the fact that we're applying more pressure on the ball is a really positive thing.

The other one I'm not so sure on.

So that to me is England, should be the England squ- England team.

Now, I, I would have Rice, like I said, at right back over Gray, unless Archie does really well over the next two seasons, but I, I don't think he'll get enough games.

But I think I'd go Quansah and Branthwaite.
