... um, income tax and changing that to make it make more sense in 2026.

We talked about a wealth tax, um, and asking, uh, particularly people with $100 million in the bank or billionaires to pay ... slightly more, basically a rounding error so we can, you know, have healthcare- Mm-hmm ... and hospitals and things that we need to function.

Um, one other thing that we're looking at right now is our inheritance tax, um, situation.

Mm-hmm.

Because Canada is the only country in the, in the G8 or G7 that does not have an inheritance tax.

Right.

Yeah

Mm.

And, you know, I'm like 24 at the time and just this is, like, my first run-in with the US healthcare system, frustrated at that, that's the reality.

Like, when you have a big or, or even a small medical emergency, um, it usually turns out to be a, a financial emergency for a lot of people.

And, um, I wanted to help people in that situation, so I started, uh, really just, like, crowdfunding, basic crowdfunding.

Would do these small events.

Um, you mentioned, uh, you know, beer.

Uh, [laughs] we, we did, uh, tons of events at all the breweries in Portland.

And that's their attempt to get it off their books and get you out of their face.
