James OleinikGUEST

I think Jared Spataro had a great blog post around this, uh, just a couple weeks ago, and it's gonna be a big part of kind of some of the announcements over the next couple months.

But really, what, what the goal of kind of like the Super App kind of vision is, is really a single, single app for kind of how you leverage AI that's built for kind of your work, right? And so there was a couple different things that came together as a part of this announcement.
James OleinikGUEST
7:10
So number one, there was kind of actually a, a merger of kind of what today, if you come to Copilot, you can either kind of chat with Copilot, which is, it's kind of a, usually it's a modality.

How do you not just kind of make your old process faster and maybe more efficient? How do you actually make it better and deliver greater value? And that's something that I think is going to become probably the most important aspect of what really differentiates organizations that really pull ahead with AI versus those that get more efficient but don't really differentiate themselves.
Nirit CohenHOST

So when I interviewed Jared Spataro last time you issued the report, there was this blocked agency concept, right? So somebody trying to go beyond their, you know, the what's now possible kind of conversation and getting blocked by jobs, roles, and responsibilities, functions, somebody else's decision-making ability.
Nirit CohenHOST
14:19
How do you loosen that? Yeah.
Katy GeorgeGUEST
14:21
that is such a great question and you know one of the things that was in the work trend index which i think might have been the report you were talking to jared about was that actually many people think the barrier to success is you know that individuals are anxious about ai or that they haven't learned enough about ai but in fact what we found is that it's these organizational issues that you drive that are holding things back more than individual adoption And so one of the things we're doing is really thinking about how do you change the whole system? So, for example, in one of our software engineering teams, they have now moved to eliminating the specific job titles for some of our colleagues so that they are no longer kind of stuck with or wed to their old job design.
