Jared Cowen

He was a draft pick they used when they traded Chris Kelly.

Oh, Jared Cowan.

Second round pick.

Who will forget Jared Cowan? 54 games.

Yeah, he kicked off the five fights on the ice.

That's what we remember from Jared Cowan.

Unfortunate, just the injury.

I should probably keep this piece of paper because it does have Andrew Hammond.

And so that's one of the things they're going to miss when you have a coach that has that kind of mind to really focus in on- All those little things all the time.

The lie of Jared Cowen's stick drove Daniel Alfredsson-

Yeah

... absolutely nuts.

It brings me no pleasure to announce my fourth overall pick.

But again, considering the things I'm drafting for, which is length of tenure and expectations, I'm taking Jared Cowan, fourth overall.

Oh!

That guy was terrible and he played 249 games for the Ottawa Senators.

Yeah, like some players never play in the playoffs in their entire career, you

know.

There's a post I made about Jared Cowan still on Welcome to Your Carlson Years.

And if you want to know what it was like, just go look up that post.
