I'm sure there's truth to it.

I don't think Jared Bednar is lying about the offseason that Mackenzie Blackwood had.

I think it's twofold.

I think he's telling that truth.

Colorado has also allowed the fewest goals in the NHL last season.

So again, the environment that he is in right now, the team that has been put in front of him, led by Jared Bednar and Joe Sackick, the front office, he is in such a great position right now.

that he needs to be in the top five targets.

And based off of mock drafts, based off of his ADPM, seeing him go as early as the fifth round, I believe he is the seventh ranked goaltender on the board right now on Yahoo.

They are a contender for the Stanley Cup.

I do think if they do falter or have issues this year, Jared Bednar will be the sacrificial lamb.

But I think they're a solid team that's going to compete.

But they got to win sooner than later.

He came from, I think, the same kind of coaching system.

I think he coached the same ECHL team as a Jared Bednar.

Yes, through South Carolina.

Yeah.

What they're saying and what they think are two different things.

Jared Bednar is a player.

He's, he's one in every level.

He knows what to say.

That's a pretty interesting idea, especially putting Nelson at center in that situation, because I personally think Kadri is the better face-off man out of the two, although he does tend to get kicked out of them a lot.

It's probably good to have them both on the same line, because if one of them gets kicked out of a draw... throw the other guy in pretty good face-off opportunity there but that's just face-offs that we're talking about Nazem Kadri I haven't really known him to have like a wicked wrister or something like that or a great one-timer and I've seen a Brock Nelson Brock Nelson played with the Islanders a little bit of wing over there so I think Nelson would be the better shift over there at wing personally but who am I to say I'm not a hockey coach but not just a hockey and just not not just jared bednar saying these things but we also have a quote from mckinnon earlier so this is from bailey curtis this was a quote from mckinnon he says i think it's important especially like we got all got a little dry at certain moments i think brock nelson could go wing i really do i think on paper it looks really good like me nelson cadre or whatever it might be like one two three but wah you can go center load up the top six Just create a different look for the other team.

now let's move down to group two that first line i'm really excited for this first line i hope i get to see it come to fruition in the nhl schwartz nelson and t.j hughes pretty interesting combination there then mccarr taylor mccarr svetchkov and nick wa parker kelly larue and logan o'connor i feel like that could be our nasty fourth line like we had last year those guys will work well together i'm sure of it so next thing on the agenda to talk about is jared bednar said There's a possibility we will be seeing Nazem Kadri play wing with Brock Nelson this year, and he wants to see TJ Hughes, Schwartz, and Nelson in one exhibition game.

I will be definitely looking forward to that preseason game where we get to see them play together for the first time.
