So Jane's novels have won literary prizes, have been made into films, and have been international bestsellers, and two of them, The Book of Ruth and A Map of the World, were selections of Oprah's Book Club.

Her nonfiction has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Allure, O, The Oprah Magazine, Elle, and various anthologies.

So we're really looking forward to that.

Kevin Henkes is a beloved children's author and illustrator, and he has a new book.

It's called Poppy that's coming out.

And so we're going to be talking about that a little bit, but they're also...

Jane's going to join him, Jane Hamilton, who's a novelist, an award-winning novelist.

And she and him are going to kind of talk about like writing in Wisconsin and the Wisconsin life and all of that.

He was.

Then you had Jane Hamilton's The Book of Ruth, which is narrated by a rural Illinois woman dealing with crushing poverty and a mind that basically everybody else in her life underestimates.

So these were not, you know, glossy celebrity ghostwritten fluff pieces.

They were gritty, emotional, deeply grounded stories about real survival.
