Shelby Harris has been okay.

Up and down a couple of good games, couple so-so games, um, behind those guys, they've been, you know, they're using three young players in the rotation, Darius Alexander, CJ Okoye, um, And Bobby Jamison Travis.

And I don't know what you're going to get from those guys.

I don't think the Giants know on a week-to-week basis what they're going to get from those guys.

You know, CJ Okoye one week was inactive because he just wasn't getting it done.

Bobby Jamison Travis, he's getting his feet wet.

The Giants, in my opinion, they need to add more to that defensive line.

And I know they've added a lot of guys to the defensive line.

Interior linemen getting blocked over three gaps on an inside run, those were not there.

The guys – and listen – Bobby Jamison Travis got more reps than he probably would have because Alexander was on kind of a, hey, show us you can do it.

We'll play you more.

But until then, you're going to be out of some reps because of just the way you've been playing.

He made some plays.

Didn't get pushed around.

And Bobby Jamison Travis got the bulk of his snaps.

And the young rookie played well.

So who's stepping up? Darius Alexander isn't.

Bobby Jamison Travis is a rookie.

You know, he's trying out there, but I think he's a little overmatched.

And I don't know if he's necessarily ready.

And when it's just the ripple effect that has on young defensive linemen trying to learn and how to develop in terms of defending the run.

And you have three young guys in the room with you, Darius Alexander, CJ Okoye, and Bobby Jamison Travis.

Can you just touch on how much the demand for defensive tackles has changed in your 12 years in the league? It has shifted a lot in your career.

people dude i wrote i tweeted about it like a couple clips out like you know i really recognize how bad the giants run blocking is when i watch other teams like the saints are moving our life now to be fair it's when it's usually when the giants take reader off the field and when they take ours off the field which is what it is, and it's the same problem we've had in the past.

There was one play where it was Jamison Travis and Alexander lined up at DT, and they just got fucking moved, dude.

Those two? Oh, gee.

Every time I saw 97 and 91 out there, I was like, no, not this.

They're rookies.

They're young.

And Jamison Travis had some nice plays, I thought, outside of the bad ones.

but like it is what it is man they can't it they have to just keep adding a d tackle like over and over just hammering at home they don't have many draft picks but just scour free agency next next offseason yeah dude

And there's nothing that they can get off the street that's going to change it.

I mean, at this point, I think they're better off just kind of continuing to develop guys like Bobby Jamison Travis and CJ Okoye who are young talent that didn't cost much of anything and you already got.

I don't think that you're going to get too much better than that in the run defense on the street that's going to cost you more and be essentially a one-year rental, unless you disagree.
