I've been watching Maths US since season one.

with Jamie and oh my god what is Jamie's husband's name like I can see his face but you know Jamie Otis you know I still think there's not been a bride I've seen on any maps I've watched all the maps New Zealand Australia UK I haven't actually watched South Africa because yikes that's a mess just you know that's for another day um Doug Jamie and Doug but yeah I don't think I've ever seen a bride be as disappointed in her partner and his looks and just cry about it the whole day the way Jamie did um and they're still together and they have like three kids and it's been like at least a decade so you know what I mean uh yeah lots of yeah lots of lots of stuff to talk about there I could talk about Mavs all day long Mavs AU is gonna air soon I'm excited about that not excited that Zach from Love Island Australia will be on this new season of Mavs Australia but anyway anyway let's get into it let's get into it let's get into it the first thing i noticed is that uh they've adopted more of the au format you know having a hens and bucks night um from the previews it seems like they're gonna have dinner parties as well i think they're gonna have commitment ceremonies and i'm just wondering if all the couples are gonna live in the one building i personally have always preferred the maths australia uh format and they didn't do it this way like specifically the whole time but i just find like i think of all the maths doing it this way works It gives us definitely more insight as well.

I feel like the UK maths got way more interesting when they started doing the AU thing.

So keen to see how US does it.

So when I watched season one, which I wanna say was maybe in, like, 2015, this was before, like, the days where, like, we're really sitting there, like, having access to every news article on our phones in the same way.

So I'm watching the show, and one of the women that was being matched was named Jamie Otis, and I'm staring at this woman, and I'm like, "I know her.

I know her.

I can't figure out how I know her." And then I was, like, trying to figure it out on my phone, and I found an article, [laughs] which was really different back in 2015, but she was actually on Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor as well.
