And she's one of, wrote the foreword on my book and I've learned so much from her in teaching.

being the mother of Andy and Jamie Murray, two world number ones.

And she always says, one snowflake at a time, we can then build a snowball and we can create these environments where kids not only want to give their best effort, they'll love it and they'll become a lifelong advocate for uh of for sport staying healthy staying active and of course all those beautiful character traits that come along with what sport teaches you about yourself so um so thank you so much um coach for having me on the show and and yeah all the best with your son and please don't hesitate to reach out if i can support you in any way

I know, I know when I was coaching Harry Heliovaara in 2023, he won the mixed doubles, and certainly the word was that's not, that's not a, a Grand Slam.

When you get like, you hear Jamie Murray's won seven Grand Slams, you get people going, "No, he hasn't.

He's only won..." You know?

Yeah.

That can't count.

Apparently when they were younger, Jamie Murray was the better player.

And they destroyed his forehand.

Uh, and less handsome-

He's more handsome than his brother, I would say.

Well, what?

Well, I would say Andy's slightly more handsome than Jamie.

And he was actually, he was great to play with as well.

Um, you know, gave [laughs] ...

Me and my brother were asking him a lot of questions, um, through the nine holes.

But he was, yeah, he was great to play with.

... exactly, and there's, there was a great story out this week with, with Andy Murray and Jamie Murray 'cause they-

... they've just started a, a YouTube channel, and they were doing a clip where Andy tells a story about Jamie when he was 12.

Um, Carlos, in his slightly secretive way, refused to even say that he was working with Jack, so I had to get someone else to, to confirm that for me.

Um, but I think Jamie Murray might have given away the secret on Sky commentary, who obviously, you know, Andy's Jack's head coach at the moment, and suggested that he's trying to open up his body less at the start of the serve, which means he'll stop the arm coming wider.

I tried to think of an apt comparison, which I don't think quite works, but it's sort of, you know, going from like a Lasith Malinga in cricket to a, to a Brett Lee and coming a lot more over the top with the arm, and that takes a lot of the pressure off the elbow.

Um, his serving, I have to say, wasn't at his best in his last match.
