That was never anywhere in the work I did.

You wanna feel purpose? Go to a children's hospital and offer to volunteer to be one of the, um, you know, the helpers that, that work in hospitals.

The need is great out there in the world.

Why is that? I love, first of all, I was born early in the morning.

So I think I'm just naturally drawn to waking up in the morning.

I'm a morning person.

But the entire crew sent me pictures saying, "Well, this is crazy." And there I was.

And of course, in that show, Donna Berzatto gets sober.

Now, when I first read The Bear, I did not know that Donna Berzatto was gonna get sober.And when we did, we did, when I did that first Christmas episode, and then we did the episode where Donna's out in front of the restaurant and Pete comes out and says, "Come on in.

Everybody's excited you're here," and she won't go in.

She's standing outside chain-smoking.

I went-- And it's not written that she's sober.

And shame

so great.

Leave her alone, people.

Because people can just be so mean, as we all know.

And then she wrote me and said, thanks for having my back.

And I was like, babe, of course.

And then we communicated.

And then, as you do when you slide into someone's DMs.

But there were women like you who have always been a quiet champion for young girls when they're coming up in this business.

I don't like to be frightened, John, at all.

And a storm came, kind of turned black, the sky, and we all took shelter under this sort of gazebo.

And all of a sudden the wind whipped up and it got really intense, and a little kid, uh, was, like, tugging on the string of the balloons, and all of a sudden, they, l- were untied from the pole and they all shot out into the sky.

Oh, okay.

Tony was yummy.
