James Wilkinson

That head-on approach was on full display in 2026's live action Masters of the Universe movie, where Mekaneck made the short but esteemed list of heroic warriors who actually made the cut.

Played by James Wilkinson, we finally get to see Mekaneck in live action form.

And yeah, while he's basically a side character in the movie, he gets to show off his neck-stretching ability more than once in all its glory.

Worth noting, while they got most of the visual cues fairly accurate, he no longer has his iconic geometric shaped helmet, which takes some getting used to, but it's ultimately still cool because just like in 200X, he looks awesome using his neck not to spy on the enemy, but to take multiples of them down at once.
