I mean, he goes through the list.

He says, "All right.

And the, the word there for authority, exousian, it's vested authority.

So it's not like Jesus is saying, "Hey, when you get there, you know, ask me and we'll see, you know, if you can cast out demons." It's like, "No, no, no, I deputize you.

You, Peter, Andrew, James, John, you have authority to do these things on your own." Like, and it's, it's authority.

Will this again be necessary in the life to come? Lead us not into temptation will not be said except where there can be temptation.

We read in the book of holy Job, Is not the life of man upon earth a temptation? What then do we pray for? Hear, what? The apostle James saith, Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God.

He spoke of these evil temptations whereby men are deceived and brought under the yoke of the devil.

This is the kind of temptation he spoke of.

Section 14, Massillon, Of a Malignant Tongue.

Born in 1663, died in 1742, had lived in a monastery when, in 1696, was called to Paris as director of a seminary, made court preacher in 1704, bishop of Clermont in 1717, and an academician in 1719.

The tongue, says the Apostle James, is a devouring fire, a world of iniquity, an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

And behold what I would have applied to the tongue of the evil speaker had I undertaken to give you a just and natural idea of all the enormity of this vice.

Andrea, recognizing that this was no country for him, departed from Naples and made his way back to Rome, where he stayed for some time, attending to the studies of his art, and also to some work.

Afterwards, having returned to Tuscany, he built the marble chapel containing the baptismal font in the church of San Jacopo at Pistoia, and with much diligence executed the basin of that font, with all its ornamentation.

And on the main wall of the chapel he made two life-size figures in half relief, namely St. John baptizing Christ, a work executed very well and with a beautiful manner.

At the same time he made some other little works, of which there is no need to make mention.

He delighted in composing sonnets, and improvising songs, and in his early youth he gave his attention to arms.

If he had concentrated his mind on sculpture and design, he would have had no equal; and even as he surpassed his master Andrea Ferrucci, so, had he lived, he would have surpassed many others who have enjoyed the name of excellent masters.

There flourished at the time as Andrea and Silvio another sculptor of Fiesole, called Il Sicilia, who was a person of much skill; and a work by his hand may be seen in the church of San Jacopo, in the Campo Cobollini at Florence, namely the tomb of the Chevalier Messer Luigi Tornabuoni, which is much extolled, particularly because he made therein the escutcheon of that Chevalier in the form of a horse's head, as if to show, according to the ancient belief, that the shape of shields was originally taken from the head of a horse.

About the same time also Antonio da Carrara, a very rare sculptor, made three statues in Palermo for the Duke of Monteleone, a Neapolitan of the house of Pignatelli, and Viceroy of Sicily, namely, three figures of Our Lady in different attitudes and manners, which were placed over three altars in the Duomo of Monteleone in Calabria.

They have come from different countries, different cultures, and different walks of life, but they have a shared common destination, Santiago de Compostela.

The Camino de Santiago, or Way of St. James, is not a single road, but it's a network of ancient pilgrimage routes stretching all across Europe, eventually converging on the cathedral in Santiago, where tradition holds the remains of St. James the Apostle are interred.

For centuries, pilgrims have made the journey for religious reasons, seeking forgiveness, giving thanks, asking for guidance, or simply fulfilling a deeply personal vow.

Some walked because they had nowhere else to go.

And they immediately left their nets there, and followed him.

And when he went on from thence, he saw other two brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother.

And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not.

And they immediately left their nets there, and followed him.

And when the multitude gathered unto him to hear the word of God, while he was standing on the shore of the sea of Gennesaret, he saw two boats standing beside the sea, while the two fishers which were gone out of them were washing their nets.

So, uh, having just returned from Lourdes and Fatima, as well as Santiago, which was a-another real highlight.

Santiago is where Saint James, the brother of John, who was there at the foot of the cross and an apostle of Jesus, is buried.

We were able to celebrate mass at his grave.

I wanted to do something a little bit different and just kinda hold up Mary in front of our eyes and do kinda three things.
