They're operating Rocky and...

They came to embody Rocky so much that James Ortiz, who was the head puppeteer and was just running lines with Gosling, ended up being the voice for Rocky because that ended up working so well, that rapport.

And that's what comes through in the movie, which is great.

And you got a

Let me pull up the name of this guy that he acted with.

James Ortiz, who's a New York theater actor.

He's done a lot of other stuff.

Because it is his first movie role.

The actor who plays Rocky, his name is James Ortiz.

And the reason that it's one of his first movie roles, he's only done like two, is because he's a puppeteer.

He's not an actor.

However, before he's able to fly on over, his ring then dies.

Also, I couldn't find out who voices the ring in the credits, uh, but it did sort of sound like James Ortiz, who recently did the robotic voice for Rocky in Project Hail Mary, but that is just a guess.

My first thought, uh, was that it [laughs] sounds like KITT from Knight Rider, but that would be insane, 'cause William Daniels is, like, n- 90.

Pat has picked a quote from Rocky, an alien character portrayed as a non-CGI puppet voiced by James Ortiz, BJ is nodding, to Rylan Grace, played by Ryan Gosling.

Now, Ryan Gosling is R-Y-A-N.

The character was R-Y-L-A-N-D.

They did not direct to those films, but they were writers and producers on it.

Kind of, big creative forces behind the spider-verse films among other things but those are some of their biggest ones and the film was written by drew goddard who was known for the martian cabin in the woods bad times at the el royale uh wrote on lost wrote on daredevil cloverfield alias angel and buffy was in the whedon sphere forever um and then moved on into the jj abrams fear for a while then went over to the marvel netflix sphere for a while uh and now he's doing uh whatever he wants i guess at this point but yeah uh he adapted the martian the film stars ryan gosling sandra huller james ortiz lionel boyce kinloong milana van trub uh priya kansara malachi kirby liz kingsman mia sotiero orion lee and michelle greenidge The film has a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, a 77% on Metacritic, and an 8.2 out of 10 on IMDb.

It currently sits at number 155 on IMDb's top film list.

It made $684 million against a budget of $248 million.

The puppeteer on the film, and I can't remember, where did it go? He's in the cast.
