James Malatesta

You've got Charlie Coyle, Sean Monahan, and Danton Heinen likely carrying heavy minutes.

And on the wing, you're looking at Conor Garland, Riley Bezeau, and maybe pushing Luke Touch or James Malatesta into key roles.

That's a lot of pressure on Heinen and Garland.

And what about the defense? Dante Fabbro is listed on the roster, but earlier episodes mentioned him dealing with injuries.

He flipped.

It was either Owen Sillinger or I want to say James Malatesta, potentially, were on the line together.

I'm going to look that up real quick just so I know.

One of them has to go.

Lomberg is tough, but he's aging.

He might be the easiest cut.

Malatesta has skill, but he's inconsistent.

Olivier brings grit, but we have Miles Wood for that.

So Lomberg is the odds-on favorite to be sent down or released.

in Traverse City years ago.

I watched James Malatesta, a prospect with the Columbus Blue Jackets, who's now a tweener, uh, look like a hero.

Nick Robertson, who the Leafs basically just gave up on, um, looked phenomenal at these.

So you, you do have to...
