You, I mean, you know, I saw some debate about Karinchak, who was up earlier in the year, um, whether, whether he'd be better, um, as a one inning reliever versus, you know, somebody like...

You know, we'll see like what happens with like J.R. Ritchie.

Like I don't know.

I don't really know what they're gonna do with J.R. Ritchie.

My guess is he'll be on the roster, but like if they wanted Karinchak, they could probably do that.

You know, um, Alicia Hernandez has been like up and down a few times, uh, as a kind of a long man.

We'll see if they want him on the roster.

Maybe not if they have a third catcher, but that seems like be- he's, he's probably gonna be around to do that.

Um, do you have any firm takes? Like, for example, I've seen, like, do you want a long man or do you want James Karinchak as, like, an argument?

I mean, the fact is, Brad, that if we see Eliezer Hernandez or James Karinchak in a best of three playoff game, something very weird has happened.

Like, it's probably the 17th inning if we were to see Eliezer Hernandez in a playoff game.

You can use guys in the very last week of the season, and you can option them down even though Gwinnett season is over just to get somebody else on the roster and give them a shot.

Right? If you look at the guys you have in triple A, James Karinchak.

Do you wanna give Blake Burkhalter another shot? Do you wanna call up Tyler Uberstein? You know, do you wanna give Roldy Munoz a chance? You just, you just grab Michael Grove off of waivers from Tampa Bay, who had gotten him from the Dodgers, and Grove has some fun stuff.

He's never put it together, right? He's a [chuckles] 29-year-old.

Um, and, and that you go back, too, it's like you talk about Sandlin, it's like Sandlin had a, a decent run, but for a second round pick, it was a eas- a disappointing value.

And, um, you know, even somebody like 99, like, uh, good old Karinchak, it's like relievers are so dang combustible that you kind of want to get in and get out, and I think one of the things that's kind of hurt this team the most in some regards is, uh, relievers, though, also have some of the highest trade values, 'cause everyone always needs them.
