James Jude Courtney

You can't have both.

But I'll stick with James Jude Courtney as Michael in Halloween Kills.

You know, I think, too, not dissimilar from the first two movies, what we said about, okay, he becomes the shape in this one.

He's the shape in the first one.

I'm

going to leave him there for somebody else.

But I am going to go with James Jude Courtney from Hallowgreen H18 because that's the first glimpse we get of him.

And I just remember even that scene with your dear, I'll say your because I don't claim him as my own with Lance Tivoli.

Judy

Green, James Jude Courtney, Nick Castle, Will Patton, to name a few.

Now, of course, you say Nick Castle, James Jude Courtney.

We mentioned this a little bit before.

Yes, Nick Castle came back as the shape.

But Nick being...

Older in age, he can't do the stunts that he used to be able to do in 78.

So they brought in James Jude Courtney to do those stunts.

And schedule wise, things just didn't work out.

James Jude Courtney is the biggest one.

If if I would have had another week to finish this book, I would have had James Jude Courtney in here.

and put a tremendous Michael Myers in that last trilogy.

But he's a very busy man, working actor, working stuntman, and we could not make it happen.

Next hot take.

James Jude Courtney from the Blumhouse Trilogy-

Uh-huh

... is the best Michael Myers ever.

Which timeline has your favorite version of Michael Myers as a whole? W- you can take that however you want, like lore-wise, you know, whatever Performance-wise, mine is David Gordon Green.

I, I think, uh, James Jude Courtney paired with the OG Michael Myers in the original, I think is just my definitive Michael Myers, how he moves and acts and everything.

So I'm gonna go with the new trilogy.

It's so hard for me because Halloween II is like my definitive Michael, but then you have like H2O, which is a little bit of a wonky portrayal, and then Resurrection.

So you're showing up for Halloween.

First of all, James Jude Courtney's been on our show.

He said it was the most fun he's ever had on an interview.

And one thing I loved about Halloween Ends is they did a cameo from...

I'm like, "No, no, no, no, no.

This is [laughs] the second best in the franchise." But I would say along with James Jude Courtney, and obviously Nick Castle-

Mm
