Offensive line changes, do you expect any of those to happen on, uh, on Sunday? I, I, I'm gonna be honest.

We, I talked to Maxie Hanachor today and James Campen, so I'm curi- I have a th- I have thoughts.

I'm curious on yours.

I, uh, from my observations on Thursday's practice and the way James Campen was just sort of so, so focused and locked in on Maxie Hanachor specifically, you know, a- and so encouraging and so corrective i- in a constructive manner, it gave me, like, such a, such a feeling that they might be making, you know, some wholesale changes, changes on the right side of the offensive line.

And because of, and we talked about this yesterday, he continues to work alongside Brock Hoffman.

We continue to see a little bit of Brock Hoffman with Zack Frazier, as much as we're seeing, uh, Spencer Anderson working with Zack Frazier.

It's how it works.

So I think that the talent level there is an im- hopefully an immediate fix, and then you have to fix the communication, which we'll see if that happens.

D- can I ask you this? Are you surprised at the, the level of, uh, I guess incompetence and how it reflects James Campen, who I personally think is a good offensive line coach but doesn't look like one right now?

Yeah, I, I think it's, it's never going to be perfect when you bring in a new coaching staff, a new offensive line coach.

Again, there's been changes all over the offensive line.

You have to adjust to where he is to get the ball out super quick.

It's screen heavy and stuff like that.

So yeah, it's not a good look for James Campen, but I'm confident they could turn it around.

And like you said, I, I feel like the communication aspect and the way they all play together as a unit is only going to get better as time goes along.

Yes, they're still in growing pains mode.

Yes, everybody's beating up James Campen and McCarthy.

I am still fully committed to what their vision is for here.

Our best opportunity for long-term stability is Troy Fatano as our left tackle and McCormick as his sidecar at left guard.

Maybe that's why I'm not blaming him enough, is because I just don't have the expectations for him.

As for James Campen, James Campen was a good offensive line coach, a very good offensive line coach with a really good reputation in places like Cleveland with names like, uh, I mean, all of the guys that just retired, the whole group that just left.

He helped form that.

Uh, he got fired and became a scout for McCarthy in Carolina.
