First, there was kind of, I would say, kind of a controversial one out of JAMA Neurology in August that took a look at safety of anti-seizure medications during direct oral anticoagulant therapy in epilepsy.

So while strong enzyme-inducing anti-seizure medications were unsurprisingly associated with higher thromboembolic risk, I think we all knew that, but this cohort study also showed higher thromboembolic risk with levotiracetam, which is generally considered a safer option with low interaction potential.
