You spent eight years as a head coach at your alma mater, Iowa State, crowning four NCAA champions, including Jake Varner and a great guy for both of us, Kyvan Gadsen.

What was your proudest moment leading the Cyclones? I got to know this.

Well, you know, I have many.

And so very, very proud of guys like that because Kaivin absolutely dominated that NCAA tournament.

John Reeder actually dominated that NCAA tournament.

Jake Varner actually dominated the NCAA tournament.

David Zembriski, who went overtime with every heavyweight he wrestled dang near his whole career in that NCAA tournament, he did not go one overtime match and became an NCAA champion.

Mm-hmm.

Craig Brester lost a bunch to Jake Varner, but not every time on the front side, I don't think.
