in the book, they were supposed to meet for a lunch date.

There's the aurora borealis, the stars, constellations, and the lake in front of my house, which was important for me to have on the cover.

The reflection in the lake, if you turn it upside down, super cool, 'cause it's a split-time novel, is two adults turned toward each other in the Arizona desert where Brian actually came after me after all those years.
