We don't get the ball... up the pitch quickly enough and that makes us vulnerable to the likes of you know you mentioned Wareham there Pebble yesterday who's a beast really isn't he and then when you think about strikers like Jadon Stockley for Wimbledon Jack Marriott of course for Reading all of whom have punished us either because you've got that hesitancy in midfield which is letting them in in the first place and you've got slightly creaky and a much less experienced defence in front of Jake Eastwood who I do think has continued to have a really good season I mean take the penalty out of the equation yesterday because these things happen but He did make a couple of excellent saves and he has done in most of the games as well.

So that's the plus point.

A defence needs a John Vaughan, doesn't it? And I think Jake Eastwood's been excellent.

So I think it's that equation between, yes, a slightly naive and much less experienced defence and the midfield.

Now, I've watched it back a few times actually, and I don't think it gets any better for poor old Jake Eastwood.

We know what a reliable goalkeeper he is.

Unfortunately, because I think having looked at it, it's almost as if he kind of... miscued a punch or he wasn't sure whether to catch it or punch it and he kind of just ended up doing neither either way the ball ends up falling to the feet of the attack as ball goes in and the trouble is though when you do something like that it's a big ask of your defenders to bail you out and they've got they had a real uphill battle keeping that ball out so when that happened he thought oh no it's only going to be one outcome

For the goal, Liam just sort of messes about a little bit and doesn't get rid of it quick enough or doesn't move the ball fast enough.

And he concedes a corner that he probably doesn't really need to in that instance.

And then, as you say, when you look at the goal and you look at the marking, But you also, you know, you do look at Jake Eastwood and his role in it, which is probably the biggest impact from how it ends up in the back of the net.
