Really a lot of positives with this start, we got improved velo, the fastball was sitting 96. um which was pretty good for that pitch because it doesn't have really great movement um and not great stats just in general everywhere else um and the secondaries were because of that the secondaries were able to shine uh the slider was coming up a little bit faster too at 88 miles an hour the curve was actually coming up four miles an hour faster than what it usually is at at 82 and Unfortunately, those two things only combined for 53% strikes, but they were good at getting whips and were working off his splitter, which also was up a couple ticks in velocity.

So everything off the board for Kikuchi.
