Jaina Solo

That's so nice.

She sees Jaina with Mara at the controls.

Mara is Jaina's teacher and in some ways she's like a big sister to her.

The Monocle Cruiser, the mediator, is stationed between the planets Ramamool and Osarian.

An elliptical orbit has brought them close to each other where they will remain for the next several months.

Yeah.

Leia is to meet with Ramamool before Osarian, but the Osarians don't like that, and four headhunters approach the jadesaber.

Mara lets Jaina take the lead as they try to get away.

Meanwhile, Han...

Leia and Jaina watch the holonet in stunned silence as Rahl turns and leaves Connie's dead body lying on the temple steps.

Leia realizes it's only a matter of time before Ta'ala orders Rahl to storm the temple, making it impossible for the Jedi to launch their stealth X-Wing squadron to help Luke.

Jaina decides to ask her fiancé and the Imperial Head of State, Jag Fel, to help the Jedi.

But Jag refuses.

His negotiations to bring the Imperial Remnant into the Galactic Alliance are at a delicate point.

It dawns on Jaina that her loyalty to the Jedi Order and Jag's position in the Imperial Remnant are causing too much of a strain on their relationship.

Jaina hands Jag back her ring of engagement.

Correct.

Zakiya, you get Jaina Solo.

Jaina Solo?

Jaina Solo.

I feel like it's bait.

I think this is a Star Wars character and we're gonna go with it.

Yes.

Jaina Solo is Han and Leia's daughter from Star Wars Legends.

You had, you had Han Solo continuing his adventures while raising a family.

You also had characters such as Mara Jade Skywalker, Jacen Solo, Jaina Solo, Ben Skywalker, and countless others.

You had Grand Admiral Thrawn.

You had the Yuuzhan Vong War.

But here's where the story becomes tragic.

Jacen believed he was protecting the galaxy, yet the methods he used created the very suffering he claimed to oppose.

His transformation into Darth Caedus led to devastating consequences for his family and the Jedi Order, and eventually his sister, Jaina Solo, Solo killed him.

So why did I put Jacen above Revan? Uh, I, I, I think it's because of his range of Force abilities.

There was a whole Heir to the Empire novel.

There was, um, dozens of books on Boba Fett and Han Solo and Leia and H- and Jacen and Jaina, and all of those things.

They were...

There was an whole official canon from Lucasfilm.
