I mean, Jim Morris, you know, because I know I used to work with Jag Panzer, and they did their first record when they reunited in the mid-90s with Jim Morris, and he did a lot of the traditional power metal bands, of course, Iced Earth, and, you know, he gave them such a big sound, and then he lent that sound to the death metal, which was really unheard of because you listen to you know a lot of the older uh you know the metal blade bands you being on metal blade uh alex uh some of those old releases were very um limited production wise but well what is it about jim morris that gave death metal such a big sound

well it's it's um the three guys at more sound that really did most of the death metal stuff were scott burns actually he was one of the engineer slash producers at more sound studios who did probably the bulk of their death metal stuff.

Jim Morris did quite a bit, and Tom Morris, Jim's brother, who's the co-owner of the studio along with Jim, he also did a few of the really great records that came out of there, like a couple of Morbid Angels records.
