It probably also relates very much to why you call it makers and why you actually produce stuff as well, as opposed to there's that intrinsic love of not just the idea, but the actual execution.

And I guess coming to it a little bit later on, the sort of architecture degree led me to think there's a few problems out there that we're not solving.

There was a lot of paper architecture going on, a lot of buildings that weren't getting built and you're thinking why and there's a lot of like work and energy it's put into this stuff and then it gets i mean still we have a lot of buildings not getting built but we try to reduce that through what we do at makers some of the influences we during my i think third year i ended up working a little bit on the first lighthouse which was a solar decathlon victoria university-led project where we went from Wellington to Washington DC and put a house together in some crazy 10 days or something and back to New Zealand in bits.

So it was pretty appealing and the first flight studio, the guys there are still at Wellington practice, which is pretty cool.

But yeah, they were that sort of group, all that knowledge was really important.

And then one of the lecturers, Guy Marrage, was really big on this cool kind of off-site building sort of penalization things like with Lego bits, right? Yeah, right.
