Josh GabelichHOST

It looked like you had Jade Sheedy from Norwood coming.
Josh GabelichHOST
58:28
He's staying with the Redlegs.
Josh GabelichHOST
58:30
How are you going on that front?

CyrilAUDIENCE
65:17
Look, it's a people person as well.
CyrilAUDIENCE
65:19
And I'm talking about Jade Sheedy, right? Now, that lad, I'm an Eagles supporter, so I know him.
CyrilAUDIENCE
65:27
His coaching is very high grade.
CyrilAUDIENCE
65:29
Nor would run the ball off of half-back in lines.
CyrilAUDIENCE
65:51
He wouldn't have thought about it long and hard if he was a no-go, okay? But Matthew Nix is a defensive coach.
CyrilAUDIENCE
65:58
I don't know how the two of them would have worked together because...
CyrilAUDIENCE
66:02
Jade Sheedy, it's a fantastic game plan he has running off half-back line.

Forward
Tom RehnHOST
20:06
Mm-hmm
Ben HookHOST
20:06
... uh, I was stunned to see Jade Sheedy not go to the Adelaide Crows.
Ben HookHOST
20:09
I thought every-

Same
Tom RehnHOST
21:13
Exactly
Ben HookHOST
21:13
... by hand.
Ben HookHOST
21:13
And Jade Sheedy proved how successful that can be at SNFL level.
Ben HookHOST
21:18
Undoubtedly, they saw Sheedy as the guy who could help with coaching that into their AFL team, and to miss out on him will be a big loss.

I'm just going to read them out in any old order, Chad, so bear with me and we'll try and plough through them.
Kym DillonHOST

Chad, GPT, why do you think the Crows are struggling to get players and coaches, i.e. Jade Sheedy? Are the Crows on the nose?
Chad CornesHOST
0:36
No, I don't think they're on the nose, Kimbo.
Chad CornesHOST
0:38
We've discussed it at length.
ElvisHOST
32:40
Yeah.
MichaelHOST
32:41
The melts last week, the meltdowns by people saying that Sheedy, Jade Sheedy, was going to be a line coach for the Crows was insane.
MichaelHOST
32:56
And now the melts that he's not are equally
ElvisHOST
33:00
as insane.
Kym DillonHOST
4:19
It involves Norwood and the Adelaide Crows.
Chad CornesHOST
4:21
Jade Sheedy has knocked back the offer from the Crows, Kimbo.
Chad CornesHOST
4:25
Which you've got to respect, don't you? He's got a building company, I think, and the work-life balance probably wouldn't be right being involved at AFL land.
Chad CornesHOST
4:35
So what a great call from him.
Kym DillonHOST

There's a little bit of breaking news before we get into what's coming up on the show, and it involves Norwood and the Adelaide Crows.

The Crows will be disappointed.
Tim GineverHOST
8:41
Love it.
Tim GineverHOST
8:42
What about Jade Sheedy? It was just the hottest rumour mill going around post-Sample Grand Final.
Tim GineverHOST
8:48
He's going to the Crows.
Tim GineverHOST
8:49
He's going to the Crows.
Mark BickleyHOST

I thought the club might have... perhaps offered something a little bit longer for those guys Ryan in particular because of his kicking he's got a beautiful leg on him so whether that was the young players decision just to take one year and hopefully back themselves in and have a good year and then re-sign for a bigger contract or whether that's the club saying we only want to give you one year yeah I'm not sure
Jarrod WalshHOST
24:03
Okay, Seven is reporting Jade Sheedy has turned his back on an offer to join the Crows and will remain at the Redlegs.
Jarrod WalshHOST
24:11
And Nick Murray has officially requested a trade.
Jarrod WalshHOST
24:16
So that will now be Nick Murray and Jordan Butts leaving Adelaide, which puts a bit of pressure on Worrell and Keane and Borlase.
Jarrod WalshHOST
24:25
They'd like to stay pretty fit next year, but...
Mark BickleyHOST
24:27
yeah um so so the interesting one is murray's got two years to go of his contract so he's requested a trade but unless adelaide get a super duper deal i don't think they will agree to it so um uh yeah that's i think that's just corey uh norris reporting that from channel nine i'm not sure if that's official and come from his manager or or anyone in an official capacity so once again i think and this is the reason i don't think we will see nick murray come out and officially say i want to trade because if it doesn't get done then he feels stupid because it feels like he wants to get out and all of a sudden you know he's at a club that he doesn't want to be at so unless you feel like that trade is going to get done i don't think you'll hear anything from the club or officially from um from nick murray um so that's that one and jade sheedy is is an interesting one and and i think you know i read there's an article in today's paper where he was quoted saying he's just got the perfect balance at the moment between family football and he runs a building business so if he were to become an afl midfield coach there's no way he could have a full-time you know work and run a family business so the hours that are involved so then when you put all those three things together it probably doesn't stack up for him one you know as he said personally in terms of the balance and wanting to be you know involved in all those things but two financially it probably doesn't stack up either the the difference between being a um a sand full coach and being an assistant coach at afl level i don't think he's all that all that great it's not a big it's not a big gap
Jarrod WalshHOST
26:03
