I think it's pretty clear this is showing the reason he killed Jacques Renault is because he thought that Jacques killed his daughter.

So he's having this kind of psychotic break and he's hearing his daughter's voice and then he's hearing his name being said over and over by Sheriff Truman.

Or he killed Jacques Renault and is having this break, you know, because he killed his daughter.

It's a possibility, brother.

It's always a possibility.

But he has stopped her from meeting up with Ronette.

Leo and Jacques.

So they don't go to the cabin.

She just vanishes.

you could assume she ends up going back and meeting with Leo, Jacques, and Ronette.

Like he's not even, he's not even good at being a bad person.
