Jacob Sharp

Okay.

Founding member of the beloved North Carolina bluegrass-ish band Mipso, Jacob Sharp, has always loved a team.

He attributes this to being a middle child, which is the basis for his debut solo album, Middle Kid.

Born and raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Jacob was not only loving being on a team, but radiated towards musical collaboration on guitar and mandolin.

I have loved all of the solo songs that he's dropped so far, and the new record does not disappoint.

We'll take a listen to a song from Jacob's new solo album.

We'll check out Don't Know and then get to our conversation with the wonderful Jacob Sharp on Basic Folk.
