Jackson Unger

Ben Frank, UMass.

Is that home? Hello, Jackson Unger.

Yeah.

It felt like, uh, you know, Caden and Berico was there for about 37 years and he is now gone.

Phillip Blaze Savoy, upperclassman.

Ryan Koring, upperclassman.

Like this is a really veteran group around Jackson Unger.

And UMass – A lot of that forward group is new, and it is their first weekend of college hockey, and they travel across the country to take on a veteran decor.

And, uh, a real turnaround for them after a, a 13-17 and 6 finish last year.

Uh, but, uh, Jackson Unger, 32 saves on Friday and 40, 54 out of 55 shots in the series, a .982 save percentage.

This is a big year for CC with 11 NHL draft picks, but, uh, what do we look for from this? Uh, a breakout for Colorado College, maybe a young UMass team exposed down the road, or a little of both?

Y- yeah, definitely a little of both, Ed.

The Colorado College Tigers swept the Minutemen of UMass by scores of 2-0 and 6-1, respectively.

Sophomore goalie Jackson Unger was stellar in net, stopping 54 of 55 shots.

Senior Drew Montgomery notched two goals, which senior Klaus Weinbergs also had three assists on the weekend.

The chaotic series of the weekend goes to the Arizona State Sun Devils split with Lindenwood.
