Jackie Lomax

Gene Dinwiddie was born on September 19, 1943, and became one of blues music's most accomplished saxophone players through decades of performing with legendary artists.

A member of the Butterfield Blues Band from 1967 to 1971, He also played with the James Cotton Blues Band and contributed memorable performances on recordings by B.B. King, Greg Allman, Melissa Manchester, Jackie Lomax, and Etta James.
