Oh, man, I think, uh, I mean, she's just smooth.

She's got this ability to slow down the game, and the pace around her just kind of slows down, and she can make the right play, and you think there's no way that puck's gonna go through, and boom, it's a great pass.

And, um, you know, playmaker, and then I was just thinking about before the interview, I was like, "Oh, what's she gonna ask me?" And I was just thinking, like-When she has the puck on her stick and she shoots the puck, you think every time, "This puck could go in." Where there's a lot of players that you don't have that mindset as a coach or you think that way.

But every time she shoots, you're like, "Yep, that could probably go in wherever she shoots from." Doesn't matter.

And what part of Leyla's game has matured the most since you've known her as a player, and where do you see that show up most clearly?

Oh man, I think, um, let me think about this one.

You know, I, I think goal scoring in big games, or just overall goal scoring.

What makes Lacey different from other talented players that you've coached, or what similar attributes does she have with the greats?

Oof.

I mean, you know, I think, uh, oh gosh.

I think I mentioned a little bit with the, with the passion, and I, I will say, I mean, all these great players have outstanding work ethics and, and she's, she's like all of them.

I mean, she puts in so much time on the ice doing skills, uh, little things in the weight room.

Um, and then just her, you know, her passion for the game and, um, her knowledge of the game.

I think she's evolved as a player.

Um, and what is it about Lacey's approach that people on the outside probably don't see that makes her the player that she is?
