Which I believe it was slightly broken a little bit by TJ Watt to score that touchdown.

Because what was happening, I'd watched a couple times and a couple times I'd seen it was Jack Sawyer was out there where it's like Sawyer, he comes right out and you can read he's going to throw it.

Stop going towards the quarterback.

Go get the guy he's going to throw it to.

Or... get out there and jump up and bat the ball down.

Yeah.

And basically I think TJ Watt saw that, you know, got to see that a couple of times from the sidelines happened to Jack Sawyer was like, I could take advantage of this.

Yeah.

We know Highsmith and Herbig are going to be really good as well.

And Jack Sawyer looked good when he was in there.

Jack Sawyer got about 30% of the reps, which was a significant increase for him.

That is such a deep edge room that they're going to constantly be able to apply pressure on the quarterbacks.

But I got to say this.

It's interesting and it's a great way to get Herbig on the field with Watt and Highsmith, not just a rotation.

The rotation part is Jack Sawyer coming in and Sawyer played well.

Yeah.

So TJ and Highsmith got better rests and Nick is now on the ball and off the ball linebacker at the line and off the ball.

Sure.

Jack Sawyer is Buckeye through and through.

Those are the guys that are having to stand up to Ryan Day and say this needs to get fixed.

I wonder if there's part of Ryan that's like, I don't know how James Smith is going to handle a situation like this.

There were also tough conversations to be had after that.

And it was, you could have guys like Jack Sawyer leading the way in those conversations.

And, Absolutely.

I was on the sideline and I said, oh my gosh, they just ran the Texas play against Texas and it went exactly as it went before.

Then I was worried Jack Sawyer was going to be on the next play.

With that said, I want to talk about one highlight of the day for me.

Herbig had the most.

Jack Sawyer got a lot of snaps.

Mike McCarthy's talked about wanting to keep these guys fresh both in game and over the course of a season as well, Willie.

And to me, I thought Watt and Highsmith in particular were sensational for the Steelers.

You're already elite at your job." There's no wonder he popped off the tape and he was that impactful with his sacks and tackles and everything because he looked fresh, right? And then he understood, be like, "All right, I'm gonna play a majority of my snaps on the left side, but I'm gonna get a little bit of right." And I think when you talk about Patrick Graham, his mindset is, "I'm gonna use you all over the place, right? Wherever I think you can be effective and we can get a win, that's where I'm gonna put you." But I think the fact that he had 38 snaps and he looked fresh, and I think that's the rec- Well, excuse me.

I feel that's the recipe for him right now at this stage in his career.

And now that you have Jack Sawyer, who's getting older, a lot more savvy, and he's a vet, on top of having, uh, Nick Herbig, who is trying to prove himself, uh, worthy of the contract that he just received, I, I think the Steelers got something brewing right now and it looked good on Sunday.

It is gonna be interesting too because when we talk about snap counts, and we went over this, um, yesterday a little bit, but Queen had them all.

Um, he had four total tackles in this one.

Really solid player against the run.
