But it's based on the Prey novels by John Sanford, which I hear, I don't know it very well, but it's kind of like a mix between Detective and Jack Reacher stories, which sound great and up my alley.

it's funny because he I was watching I've been watching a bunch of interviews with you know all of them but he picked up boxing so he ran track in school but he also got into boxing and so you could definitely tell when he goes to fight those dudes he kind of has that stance and the move and

stuff like that

yeah and but there'd be no discussion you'd be like okay it's done there's no yeah yeah

it really is is cool like a we you know i get to talk to two of you guys about this all the time but but just being able to speculate and think about it and theorize and like it's really cool as opposed to just being like oh i don't even need to think about it or come up with a theory because in three hours i'll know exactly what what the answer to this theory

Yeah, because something like Jack Reacher, which I also enjoy, that's something you can binge.

Yeah.

softens you in a way where Grace is not no soldier.

Grace is not, she is not Jack Reacher, bitch.

She's not out here jumping on helicopters, climbing up, scaling buildings, doing parkour, bitch.

She's not doing all that.

it does matter to the people that they are trying to get-

Because they started making every episode, like, an hour and a half long, full of CGI slop and people coming out as gay.

That's why I liked Reacher.

Like, no one likes that.

You know, it's, odd to make a whole documentary about that as you say it's just people sitting around talking about a movie watching clips of the movie but i it's totally compelling

absolutely so that was a lot of fun and i'll get to more stuff specifically a couple things that i really want to make you watch and i think i'll be able to talk you into without too much trouble but uh before i get to that full you've gone through a couple things i know you watched the new season of reacher i know you finally got around to supergirl what are the highlights of things what you made yourself and or other people watch

Yeah, so Reacher season four was quite good.

I would argue it has the best action of the four seasons and it's pretty nonstop.

There is a sweet spot of like kind of the middle of the season where it's really firing off cylinders.

I really like this show.

I enjoyed all four seasons of it.

I would also argue that the best medium for Jack Reacher is still the Jack Reacher movie.

Uh, a guy who seems like a good guy and the star of a show that, if you know me, you know I love, and now everybody loves it, but I loved it first.

I was reading the books back in the day, the Lee Child's books, Reacher.

So Alan Ritchson has been breaking a lot of news, and [clears throat] he says that, uh, the studios, uh, Amazon begged him to shut up about politics.

Uh, but he hasn't.

He's made a lot of noise, and he also just said that they shot down an idea.

Here it is.

Alan Ritchson claimed Amazon Prime Video killed a Reacher storyline involving white supremacists, suggested the movie-- the move was political.

In a comment on Threads last week, Alan Ritchson replied to a fan who's expressed disappointment that the Amazon Prime Video series would not adopt a book written by the author where Jack Reacher, quote, "kills his way through a white supremacist militia camp." I'm pretty sure I read that one.
