Jack Musa

Aside from the obvious Arizona State Lindenwood, I feel like Michigan Bowling Green I might keep an eye on too, or UMass CC.

Got to root for my guy Jack Musa now for my fantasy team.

These are some NPI busters.

Right? CC UMass is an MPI buster.

Where are we at? Just look up the UMass Hockey blog or check out my Twitter slash X or wherever you get your information on Substack.

But Jack Musa, right? He's coming into this season 31 points shy of Bobby Trevino's D1 scoring record for a career.

He's the first UMass player to ever start a season with 100 or more points.

What did Bobby start his last season at? So Bobby started his last season way below.

So it was pretty good.

Ridonkulous.

But Jack Musa, I mean, he has the chance to be the all-time leading scorer in D1 history.

He's one of the two captains this year.

I think it's very similar to the team that made the regional final two years ago, just because I think this team has a couple of things that no other UMass team has had at the same time.

So Jack Musa on paper is, you know, there's only really ever been one other guy who's been like him as far as the numbers he's put up and the amount of time he spent at UMass.

And that's Bobby Trevino.

I mean, Jack Musa, if all goes well and he comes, you know, if he if he hits his averages over his last three years, he's the all time leading D1 score for this UMass team.

And I think that with every extra year he spends, he gets a little bit more dominant.

And so it's really rare for any team in college hockey, but for UMass too, to have a guy like that return for a fourth year.

Yeah.

And
