But when he gets there, he goes on his own mission to save Jack Monroe because he felt bad about killing him uh and then so you know all the the characters from from that time frame so we have death lock we've got god wolf hellinger um sister pleasure and jack monroe bernie rosenthal so if you're a fan of death lock live this would have been a really fun sequel

uh then A few more stories we did.

Um, and then the most recent one I did maybe, okay, maybe this one is my favorite.

I've, as you can see, I've, I've always felt like Jack Monroe never got his just, just do.

And so, um, This story was, you know, what if Jack Leroux was manipulated, you know, as opposed to a sad deterioration? What if he was celebrated by his friends, but not necessarily forgotten and never spoken about? What was his message during Cap, or to Steve, I should say, during his low point of Avengers Disassembled that inspired Steve to create a new team? And so I just felt like it was a good final send-off in what I called a hero's farewell.

But yeah, this issue then closes with the scene taking us to a dive bar on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

We see Jack Monroe, former Bucky replacement, having one too many drinks.

He yells at the bartender for not believing that he used to work with Captain America and he leaves to the parking lot.

He's huffing and puffing out by his car when a man in shadow approaches him.

The stranger asks if he is Jack Monroe.

Jack says, yeah, then asks if he knows him.

The man says no and shoots Jack point blank, killing him.

What did we do? No, he's cool.
