Very prolific, creative person who is also deeply connected to music on a spiritual level.

There's friends like Jack Ladder and Kieran J. Callinan who are songwriters from Australia who are just like all these people just have sort of, I can see in them what over the years has sort of like infected me, you know.

So we've created this awful, awful flu together basically.

It's like a tool flu that we've created and no one should come near it.

The mask becomes the face.

Yeah.

And my friend, I remember my friend, I was probably only 23 or 24 at the time, and my friend, Jack Ladder, whose name is Tim Rogers, he was like, you know that the music's good and... you're young and like maybe give the music a shot and stop like sort of disfiguring yourself and just go and do it and see how that goes instead and after he sort of said that I was like oh I'm trying to compensate for what I'm worried might be like the music's not enough and I need to do more than just the music But to sort of try and answer your question a little clearer, I didn't have any need to defend myself or to build up an excuse to why it made sense for me to do it because no one was listening.

There was no sense of expectation or like, at the time I was really into like internet websites that no one knew about, you know, YouTube videos with low view counts.
