Jack Campbell

The logistics of leadership, the sheer friction of commanding a massive organization, are often far more complex and perilous than the physics of the weaponry being deployed.

And to explore this operational friction, we look at Jack Campbell's two thousand and six novel, Dauntless.

[laughs] Jack Campbell is actually the pen name of John G. Hemry, who is a retired naval officer.

And you can feel that authentic, real world naval experience in every single paragraph.

It is incredibly grounded in the mechanics of how a fleet actually operates.

mutteredYeah, he's not gonna be happy

Nailed.

came straight across cut right running along the forty two and a half yard line brought down by Jack Campbell played it perfectly so a little draw action as Pruitt took it and picked up about three

yards yeah they trapped Joe Green beautifully and the hole was there and that's why it's so important to have him in that game because when you got that Greg Pruitt and you're showing him a little daylight you have to have a really nifty outside linebacker and that of course is Jack Hamm and

he was there Picked up a penalty marker on that play.
