What was your contribution? What was the learning there?

Yeah, absolutely.

So Inbhá, of course, is, is, um, the Irish word for empathy, and, um, when it was being kind of proposed and launched, it was kind of discussed as a compass.

But I suppose for me personally, I always thought of the book as being something of a finger on the pulse of empathy in Ireland, um, one which, you know, acknowledges, uh, empathy in our past and present, but also looks to our future and how we can, we can create an empathetic future.

Um, and so the goal behind the book was as a means of, um, raising funding, uh, to support the work of the UNESCO Child and Family Research Center, um, for their Activating Social Empathy program.

And the book was co-edited, um, by Cillian Murphy, uh, the youth center's patron, and Pat, uh, Pat Dolan, um, and published in 2022.

Um, and so what I think is really interesting, what is great about the book, it's, it's, it's 89 contributions, 89, um, uh, short pieces, um, with a huge diversity of what you can find in it, in terms of there's poetry, personal essays, and then thoughts and re- thoughts and reflections on what empathy, uh, means to those individual contributors.
